Nalazi se u sazve\u017edju Strelac. Prvi ju je tkrio ju je Djovani Hodierna oko 1654. godine. U Mesijeovom katalogu je dodata 1764. godine i nosi redni broj 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Udaljenost ove magline od Zemlje se procenjuje na oko 4 do 6 hiljada svetlosnih godina. Sadr\u017ei nekoliko <a href=\"https:\/\/sr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bokove_globule\" class=\"rank-math-link\">bokovih globula<\/a> \u2013 tamne i guste oblake gasa i kosmi\u010dke pra\u0161ine u kojima se odvijaju procesi koji mogu dovesti i dovode do formiranja zvezda. U okviru najsjajnijeg dela ove magline upadljiva je formacija koja se zove \u201cMaglina pe\u0161\u010dani sat\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"section-gbbecae\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-e6 section-gbbecae gutentor-element gutentor-element-image text-align-center-desktop\"><div class=\"gutentor-element-image-box\"><div class=\"gutentor-image-thumb\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/fizika.pmf.ni.ac.rs\/nocistrazivaca2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/m08m20.jpg\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><sub>Fotografija: Magline M8 (ve\u0107a i sjajnija) i M20<\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; U blizini magline Laguna nalazi se <a href=\"https:\/\/fizika.pmf.ni.ac.rs\/nocistrazivaca2020\/m20-maglina-trifid\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">maglina Trifid<\/a> koja u Mesijeovom katalogu ima oznaku M20. Maglina Laguna je ve\u0107a i sjajnija od magline Trifid i nalazi se ju\u017enije od nje. Maglina Laguna sjaji uglavnom zbog prisustva dve masivne zvezde vidljive golim okom (7 i 9 Sagittarii) koje su odgovorne za jonizaciju gasa od kog je ova maglina sazdana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Magnituda ove magline je 5,2 \u0161to je \u010dini <strong>povoljnom za amaterska posmatranja<\/strong>.
